Customized Wedding and Event Planning, Decorating, and Officiants

Wedding Ministers

About our Wedding Officiants

We feature several wedding officiants, all experienced and well-trained.  Our goal is to provide quality, customized weddding ceremony services to match the needs of every wedding.

We do not require pre-marital counseling.  You get full control over what is or isn't said at your ceremony.  This gives you complete piece of mind about the most important part of your wedding day...the marriage ceremony!

We will present each couple sample ceremonies based on their style preferences.  They will get the chance to either select a ceremony they prefer or pick and choose the pieces of each they like so we can create a custom ceremony for them.  We can also write a ceremony entirely from scratch for them if they'd prefer. We can present ideas for special touches like including children, honoring loved ones, unity candles and much more.

Before the ceremony, we will present a 'script' for their approval of the entire wedding ceremony.

Day of the ceremony, each couple can be sure that the officiant will arrive on time, professionally attired and conduct the ceremony in a clear, pleasant voice.  We consider this commitment to be of the highest priority.  WE HAVE NEVER MISSED A WEDDING CEREMONY!

Our officiants are willing and capable of performing ceremonies of all types from very traditional or religious to non-denomonational to civil. We honor all religions.* Some have experience with hand-fastings or commitment ceremonies.   All are also capable of vow-renewals.  You will find us to be a perfect touch for your wedding ceremony.

(None of our officiants are priests and therefore we can not provide Nuptial Mass)

Information on some of our officiants:

Ronni Johnston, O.M.

I have been performing weddings since 1993. Its one of my favorite things to do and I see it as a great honor.  I pride myself in striving to allow each couple to set their own ceremony standards.  My motto is "I've had my wedding, this one's all yours."  Its a fun way to express the idea that I see my job as creating exactly the right words and details for your special day - exactly the way you want it to be.

Previous Experience:

My range has included simple weddings on short notice (Can you come tomorrow for a wedding in the living room?) to the elaborate wedding ceremony with several components honoring special family situations.  I have faced unique circumstances with grace: an outdoor wedding during (unexpected)KS 40 mph winds;  cold water spilling over the altar during the ceremony;a temporarily "missing" bride, an over the phone ceremony with proxy. I also have experience with the more 'normal wedding: simple, elegant, lovely ceremonies in a beautiful garden or park.  My strongsuit is a good speaking voice and ability to direct a room's focus.  I am often told that I have a great understanding of how to structure a ritual or ceremony.  I am enthusiastic and always walk away from a wedding having had a great time.

My ordainment comes from the  Universal Life Church.  As a minister, I have performed weddings, handfastings, funerals, house and office blessings, spiritual counseling and other sacred ceremonies.  I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, this gives me vast experience in public speaking and interacting with others in a sacred, centered manner. When working as a wedding minister, I honor all religions*  including those who prefer to have no religious or spiritual references in their ceremonies.   I consider myself Esoteric Christian for my own faith, finding Divine Truth in many places.

Filena Cox, O.M

With a background in drama, Filena brings a great sense of theatre to the weddings she performs.  Youthful and vibrant, her sense of humor adds to the ease of the wedding day itself. She has a strong Christian upbringing, but, is also very comfortable with civil & non-denomonational ceremonies.  She is always willing to throw in that 'something extra' that the couple may like to see on their wedding day to make the wedding ceremony truly memorable.

Rev. Graylan Keefe

Very stylish and very reverent.  His love of his Christian ministry work shines through in everything he does.  Graylan is very focused in ensuring that the couple's needs come first.  At ease in front of large crowds, he is the perfect leader for a wedding ceremony of any size. He has a great personal presence. Graylan has a loving demeanor.  His respect and love for all humanity is evident immediately.

Crystal Allen, OM

A quiet confidence is what best describes her.  She can easily and elegantly guide the couple through any wedding ceremony, without any undue pomp or circumstance.  Her clear and beautiful voice is a delight.  She has a graceful presence that is the perfect complement to the wedding day.

Melissa Cox, OM

A strong voice and professional disposition means that Melissa is a perfect match for every wedding.  She has a background in themed events and can make a unique wedding appear as comfortable as the most traditional of weddings.  She has an ability to put members of the wedding party, family or guests that might other wise be nervous, like children, elderly or persons with special needs, completely at ease.  Combined with a good sense of humor, a couple would feel as if a favorite old friend or relative is on hand to perform the ceremony.

*We choose to reject any work that is not based in Love or involves violence or acts of hatred even if considered a part of person's "religion."
